Also known as “Oz”

Austin C. Wiggin III of Epping, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 68, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born in November 1956 in Exeter, NH, he was the beloved son of Austin C. Wiggin Jr. and Annie Jane Wiggin. Austin grew up in Fremont, NH, and spent his life building strong connections with his community and family.

A skilled welder, Austin dedicated 33 years of hard work and craftsmanship to the Awning Center of Epping. Outside of work, he found joy in working on vehicles and cooking for his loved ones—especially when it brought his family together. Known for his heart of gold, Austin was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His generosity, warmth, and unshakable work ethic left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his brothers Rick Tenney of Arizona and Robert “Butch” Wiggin of Pennsylvania; his sisters Betty Wiggin-Porter, Dot Wiggin-Semprini of Epping NH, and Rachel Wiggin-Gould of Portsmouth NH. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Wiggin-Bickford. Austin is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and by his cherished granddaughter.
