In Loving Memory
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Austin Cole Felts. Born on August 5, 1988, Austin left us too soon on May 24, 2024. He will be fondly remembered for his kind-hearted and helpful nature that brought joy to us all.
Austin's life was rich and full of passions. As a music enthusiast, he had an eclectic taste, enjoying tunes from The Black Keys, The Lumineers, Tyler Childers and Sylvan Esso with a true knack for finding soon to be discovered musical talent and being the first to share with friends and family. Austin also had a deep-seated affinity for travel and exploring nature. His wanderlust took him to many corners of the world, and his heart for adventure endeared him to everyone he met. A serious foodie, Austin had a refined palate that loved to explore unique flavors and culinary delights which led him to uncovering many hidden gems right here in Oklahoma City. A self-taught cook, Austin would recreate some of these fantastic dishes at home, while putting his own spin on them. His ratatouille was chef's kiss. Austin will be remembered as a 'dog-whisperer' who never met a pup that didn't immediately love him, and extended his compassion towards saving and rescuing all animals in need.
Austin is survived by Deborah and Terry Felts, Amy Harper and her children, Ashley, Rachel, and Kaytlyn, Sarah Hardridge and her child, Kieran, Addie Scott and her children, Owen, Tatum and Jett, Jason Felts and his children, Gage and Jacob, Bill Brunkhorst, Robert D. Leonard as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. His departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of many, but his memory and legacy will continue to live on in the lives of those he touched.
We will be gathering together to celebrate Austin's life on June 3, 2024, at 7:30 PM at Esperanza Ranch in Luther, Ok. All those who knew him and were touched by his gentle soul are welcome to join us in honoring his life and cherishing the beautiful memories he left behind.
Rest in peace, Austin. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment to fill the world with love will forever be remembered.
