It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved grandmother, Candace Suzanne Harrison, who departed this life peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 79. Candace was the cherished mother of two children, a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, and a delighted great-grandmother to one precious great-grandchild. Her life was a testament to strength, compassion, and unwavering love—not only for her family but also for her lifelong profession as a world-class chef and caterer. Born in Belgium, Germany, Candace dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. She welcomed many into her home over the years, asking for nothing in return. Her home was a place of warmth, wisdom, and laughter. Whether preparing a feast for clients or family, offering heartfelt advice, or simply listening with patience and kindness, she touched the lives of everyone she met. Candace will be lovingly remembered for her gentle spirit, quick wit, and boundless generosity. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild. A private service for family and close friends will be held on May 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at San Ysidro Cemetery, located at 149 Camino Sin Nombre, Corrales, NM 87048. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help with service expenses. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
