Charles Strawbridge

Charles L. Strawbridge of Snellville, Georgia, passed away on April 2, 2025 after a long illness. He was born in Sulligent, Alabama to Charlie and Etta Strawbridge. He was the 8th of nine children. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and a veteran of the US Navy. He spent his career in Pharmaceutical sales and was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. He was a man of faith and his church home was the Church of Christ at Snellville for over forty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven of his eight siblings.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife of almost 57 years, Diane. His daughters, Laura Hull (David), Suzanne McCluggage (Jeremy) and Mary Katherine Simmons (Jason). He leaves behind six grandsons, five granddaughters, and two great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nora, and many nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who loved him.
