Deborah Lynn Booher
In Loving Memory
Debbie was born on September 22, 1967, in Dayton, Ohio, to her parents, Sharon (Fitzgerald) Booher and Marvin Booher (stepmother, Linda Booher). She was a free-spirited and spiritual woman who believed in finding peace and trusting that life would happen as it should.
She is survived by her three handsome sons, Alex Messer (wife, Kate), Justin Kopp, and Lucas Booher; and her three beloved grandchildren, Madison Messer and Jaden and Bryce Kopp. She is also survived by her father, step-mother, three sisters, one brother, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Booher (Fitzgerald); her brother, Marvin Booher Jr.; and her sister, Teri Booher.
Debbie lived a life of quiet beauty, love, and a deep desire for peace. She had a soft spirit and a way of making those around her feel at ease. She found joy in the simple things like watching birds, caring for her plants, loving her animals, coloring, and learning new things. Debbie pursued her interests in nutrition and skincare, developing a strong curiosity about how nutrition affects overall well-being. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends talking, laughing, and simply being together.
Debbie showed her love through the little things like helping people when they felt overwhelmed or making her unforgettable banana bread and macaroni and cheese, dishes that will be missed and remembered fondly.
Debbie’s warmth, humor, and easygoing nature touched many lives. She had a way of bringing light, comfort, and calm to those around her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the memories shared, the love she gave, and the family and friends she adored so deeply.
A celebration of life will be held at Hawker Church at 1617 N. Longview St. Beavercreek, Ohio from 2-5 pm on Sunday 21 June 2026. All are welcome.
