Debra Lee Stevenson
In Loving Memory
Debra Lee “Debbie” Stevenson, age 65, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away on August 20, 2025. Born on April 17, 1960, in Waterloo, Iowa to Donald and Delores (Crosser) Boger. Debbie brought warmth and creativity into the lives of those around her.
She was the beloved partner of Mike Kittleson and a devoted mother to her children: Tamara, Christopher (Trusha), Angela, and Andrew. She took great joy in being a grandmother to Chancey, Brayden, Kacey, Danielle, Holli, and Ryder. Her affection also extended to her cherished dogs, Sadie and Deion.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Delores Boger; her daughter Tamara; grandson Tanner; great-grandson Oakleigh; and niece Chrissy. She is remembered with love by her surviving children and grandchildren, as well as her brothers Dan and Doug (Jeni) Boger.
A talented craftsperson, Debbie had a special gift for sewing and flower arranging. Her home was often filled with the comforting aromas of her cooking—meals made with care and shared with those she loved. Music was a lifelong source of joy for her, especially live performances that lifted her spirit.
Debbie was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs fan. She rarely missed a game and cheered passionately each season. She also enjoyed relaxing with movies or getting lost in a good story. Above all else, she treasured time spent with family and friends—whether gathered around the table or enjoying quiet moments.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 27, 2025, from 4-7pm, at the American Legion, 728 Commercial Street, Waterloo, Iowa.
Debbie’s legacy is one of creativity, devotion, and enduring love. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
