Debra Susan "Debbie" Anderson (Hargrave)'s Story

1952 - 2025

Age 72

Richmond, Indiana

Debra Susan "Debbie" Anderson (née Hargrave), age 72, passed away after a brief illness on October 13, 2025, in Richmond, Indiana.

Born on November 2, 1952, in Oceanside, California, Debbie brought warmth and creativity into the world from the very beginning. Throughout her life, she remained a beacon of compassion, artistry, and generosity to all who knew her.

Debbie was a loving caregiver and a devoted animal lover, known for opening both her heart and her home to those in need. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of countless individuals who found comfort and kindness in her presence.

A woman of many talents, Debbie found joy in the arts. She loved music, filling her home with sounds that reflected her vibrant soul. Her love for reading and writing allowed her to explore and express her thoughts with depth and imagination. But perhaps most notably, Debbie was a gifted crocheter. Her hands brought to life blankets, scarves, toys, and baby clothes—each piece a labor of love, personally designed to reflect her deep care for others. These handcrafted treasures continue to serve as lasting reminders of her devotion and creativity.

Debbie’s legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her sister Victoria, her two daughters Codi and Tamara, and her son Robert. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sister Cynthia.

Debbie was an important part of the lives of all she touched, and her absence will be deeply felt. Her memory will live on in the stories she shared, the gifts she gave, and the warmth of every stitch she lovingly crafted.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
