Dewayne Allen Greer, born on August 12, 1955, in Crossville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Boaz, Alabama.
Dewayne grew up in Crossville and graduated from Crossville High School in 1974. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pete Greer. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathy Greer; his son, Joshua Greer; and his daughter, Shanna Pendergraft. Dewayne also leaves behind two cherished granddaughters, Makala (Taylor) Briton and Mckenzie (DJ) Thrasher, as well as four beloved great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy and Kenneth Greer.
Dewayne had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in playing the guitar. These passions brought him peace and happiness throughout his life.
