Gary David Toska - Obituary

Gary David Toska, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 3, 2024. Born on October 13, 1959, Gary dedicated three decades of his life to General Motors before his retirement. A devoted family man, Gary's greatest joy was spending time with his loved ones, especially his children and grandchildren. He had a profound love for the outdoors, cooking, and ensuring everyone around him felt loved and happy. Gary is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pearl Richardson, and his daughters, Charlene and Christie Toska. He was a cherished grandfather to Devin Hawkins, Michael Tanasy, Samantha Tanasy, Alyssa, and James Richardson, and a great-grandfather to Hazel, Hirzel, Daniel, and Trenton Tanasy, Dominic Ahumada, Javier Richardson, Kendal, Kamron, and Peyton Hawkins. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rosa Toska; his grandparents, Agnus and Tom Toska; and his son, Michael A. Tanasy the 1st. A memorial service will be held on December 9, 2024, at the House of Day, 2550 Nebraska Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43607. The service will be open to family and friends from 1 PM - 7 PM to celebrate Gary's life and legacy.
