James Morris White, 81 of Texarkana, TX passed away on January 12, 2026, at the Christus Mother of Frances hospital in Tyler, TX due to health issues.
Mr. White was born in Memphis, TN to Michael Watson and Merle Claudine White on November 15, 1944.
He was a long-time resident of the Texarkana and New Boston area. He served in the U S Coast Guard. He worked at the Red River Army Depot for years until he retired.
He was married to Dena Ray Wright in Texarkana, TX where they made their home.
James was proceeded in death by his wife - Dena Ray White; father - Michael Watson White; mother - Merle Claudine White; brother - Michael Watson White Jr.; sister - Deliliah Diane Forthy-White; niece - Dawn Reske; niece - Sandy White.
James is survived by his brother - Dennis Wayne White; sister–in-law - Cherryl Lyn White; niece - Tammy Hedrick; niece - Elizabeth Seko-Boerema; nephew -Michael White III; nephew - Kenneth Taylor, and numerous relatives and friends.
