Jamie Sue Asunto, 72, of Brownstown MI, passed away on March 26, 2026, peacefully in her home. Jamie was born on April 14th, 1953, in Tennessee. She was the only child of the late James White, and oldest of five to Lorelle (Vaugnh) Bullen. She was survived by her younger siblings Karen Harrington, Gina Bullen, Jack Bullen, James Bullen. Also survived by her two sons Craig Asunto, Jason Asunto.
Jamie lived a simple life, finding joy in weekly conversations with her sisters and making cookies for neighbors. Jamie was a woman of simple pleasures, she believed that a home-cooked meal was the best way to show love. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, filled with the aroma of that night's dessert . She taught her family that you didn't need fancy ingredients to make a masterpiece—just flour, sugar, butter, and a lot of love.
Following her wishes, She has been cremated and no formal service will be held. Instead, the family asks that you honor her by taking a quiet moment of memory.
