Janet Scharlie Staats, of York, PA, passed away January 27, 2026, after a long illness. Janet was born March 15 1944, to Everett and Virginia Wilson. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Margaret King and Irene Miller. She is survived by her husband Richard; sons Robert of York, PA and Raymond (Dawn) of New Bern, NC; grandchildren, Emily, Meghan, Michael (Brandy) and Anthony (Rebecca); and three great grandchildren. A private service for the family will take place March 15, 2026 at the Slover-Bradham House in New Bern, NC.
