Jodie Marie (Hansen) Zitske, aged 57, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Madison, Wisconsin. Born on November 20, 1968, Jodie was known for her sweet and accepting nature. She was a reliable friend, a great listener, and a loving and fun presence in the lives of all who knew her.
Jodie is survived by her mother, Delores Hansen; her children, Trevor Hansen and Kylie Zitske; her daughter-in-law, Krista Hansen; and her cherished grandchildren, Brantley, Oliver, Meadow, and Amelia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Hansen.
Jodie was a profound animal lover, a passion reflected in her companionship with her beloved pets. She is survived by her cat, Mia, and her dog, Clyde. Her dog, Nala, passed away shortly after Jodie.
A Celebration of Life for Jodie will be planned for a future date when the weather is more accommodating, honoring her memory in a manner she would have loved.
