In Loving Memory

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of an incredible young man who left us far too soon. Born and raised in Southern Maryland, John Tyler touched the lives of so many with his kind and genuine heart. He loved life, laughter, and the people around him.

In 2020 he relocated to Florida, where he met his wife Lisa, and created and built a beautiful life and became a loving and caring father to her daughter, Alaska. He was not only a devoted father but also an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

John Tyler was full of life and brought joy wherever he went. He had a passion for cooking, playing pool, fishing and kayaking, and watching his favorite football team, the Steelers, play. His love for kids and family was evident in everything he did. He worked hard, loved deeply, and gave selflessly.

He now joins his younger brother, Anthony, in Heaven. Although the loss is unbearable, we find comfort in knowing they are reunited in eternal peace.

He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Julia Garrow, Cathy Garrow, and Chick Garrow, his Uncle Mike Garrow, and his brother Anthony Garrow.

He is survived by his Mother and Father; Hope Hewins and Fred Garrow of Hollywood, MD, his grandparents Lyman and George Ann Hewins of Hollywood, MD, his sister Lauren Yates of West Palm Beach, FL, and many many aunts, and uncles, and cousins.

To his family and friends grieving this tremendous loss, may God grant us all strength and comfort as we remember his incredible spirit and celebrate the impact he made on all of our lives. John Tyler, you will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest peacefully.

A celebration of life for John Tyler will be held on Saturday January 25th at 2pm, at the VFW Post 2633.
