Born on August 26, 1940, in The Bronx, New York, Joseph lived a full and meaningful life defined by love for family and generosity of spirit. He had a special gift for bringing people together. He loved cooking for the community where he lived and treasured the friendships he found there. Sharing meals and laughter with his neighbors brought him great joy, and his kitchen was often filled with the comforting aroma of his favorite dishes. He enjoyed playing Santa Claus for the community, Elementary Schools, Nursing Homes and going out on Halloween to have pictures taken with the children. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In keeping with Joseph’s wishes, his body was cremated and no services will be held. The family encourages those who knew him to remember him in their own special way—through a shared story, a quiet moment of reflection, or by preparing a meal in his honor.
Joseph’s love, laughter, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
