Judith Carol Wallace ("Judi"), 82, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Garden Grove, California
Born on May 23, 1942, in Michigan to James Doyle Wallace and Florence “Cathy” Minniebell Homman, Judi spent most of her life in Southern California. She worked as an accountant for many years, primarily in San Bernardino and Orange County.
Judi married James Lynn Johnson in 1961 and together they had two daughters, Cathy Lee and Kelly Rae. In 1965, she married Eldon "Dick" Richard Edwards, and they had three children: Karry Ann, Corey Jon, and Casey Tod.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judi poured her heart into raising her family. She was the proud matriarch of five children, eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren — each one a source of immense joy and pride.
Judi was also a passionate animal advocate. Her love for animals was evident in the care she gave to abandoned and feral pets, ensuring they were fed, sheltered, and loved. Her compassion extended to all creatures, and she found deep fulfillment in her efforts to protect and care for them.
She will be remembered for her fierce love, unwavering work ethic, generous heart, and her deep commitment to family and animals alike.
