Katherine (Cathy) Marie Benavidez 01/ 06/1968 - 10/16/2025 Katherine was born to Helen Jaramillio and Leroy Benavidez on January 6th 1968 in Albuquerque New Mexico where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Valley High School in 1986 and made a career in communications and marketing. Katherine passed away on October 16th 2025 at the age of 57. Her departure undeniably far too soon. A loyal mother, proud sister, adoring aunt and honored daughter. Possessing a gift to lift people’s moods and make light of tense situations Katherine spoke positivity into the people around her with words of praise and appreciation. Her actions were thoughtful and kind. Cathy was a friend to many, all having a memory of her bold playfulness and unaplogetic love for attention.
