Luke William Mackey

Luke William Mackey, 38, of Goodyear, Arizona, passed away September 8, 2025. He was born in Bicknell, Indiana, on July 22, 1987. His mother, Marion (Slough) (Mackey) Jackson, of Loogootee, Indiana, and father, Myron Mackey, of Bicknell, Indiana, survive him.
He was married to Brittany (Wesner) in Evansville, Indiana, on December 29, 2007, and she survives, as do their two sons, Levi B. Mackey and Brody A. Mackey, all of Goodyear, Arizona. Also surviving are his siblings: Jason Barnett of Vincennes, Natalie Hornback of Graysville, Nathan Mackey of Bicknell, Lena (Rob) Henson of Evansville, and Benjamin (Jonna) Mackey of Vincennes.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was selected to be a member of the USAF Honor Guard at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, DC, participating in events such as military burials at Arlington National Cemetery and White House State Dinners.
He was a loyal supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and Indiana Hoosiers, and enjoyed spending time with his family at sporting events.
Interment was at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery, Bicknell, Indiana.
