Lyndon Yates
In Loving Memory
Lyndon Gregory Yates, born on July 26, 1960, in Rome, New York, passed away on December 17, 2025, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was 65 years old.
Lyndon dedicated over two decades of his life to Frito Lay, where he worked faithfully for 24 years. His time there was marked not only by his strong work ethic but also by the meaningful friendships he formed with his co-workers—bonds that brought him great joy and fulfillment throughout his career.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kristie; his daughter April Clare and her husband Thomas; his son Phillip Yates and his wife Jackie; and his son Tyler Yates and his wife Michele. Lyndon was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren who brought immense happiness into his life. He is also survived by his mother, Clarice.
Lyndon was preceded in death by his father, D. Bryan Yates, and his brother, Gary Yates.
The foundation of Lyndon's life was his faith in Jesus Christ. He also enjoyed many hobbies, including running and baseball—activities that reflected both his energy and passion for staying active. Music was another constant in his life, as was travel, which allowed him to explore new places and create lasting memories. Perhaps most dear to him was the time spent playing with his grandchildren—moments filled with laughter and love that he cherished deeply.
Lyndon’s legacy lives on through the family he loved so dearly and the many lives he touched along the way. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
