Margaret Ledford

Margaret Louise Ledford, 81 of Waterford, Michigan, born July 23, 1944, passed away at her home in Waterford, Michigan, surrounded by her family on August 30, 2025.
She is survived by siblings Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ronayne, Patricia (Jim) Greer, and Michael (Ann) Ronayne. Mother to Keith Goodling, Kevin (Becky) Goodling, Eric Goodling, Glenn Goodling, Kelly Shelton and April (David) McLeod. Grandmother to Nicole (Sean) Clingan, Tristan (Samantha) Goodling, Diana Goodling, Joseph Goodling, Brittany Goodling, Miranda Goodling, Meaghan Goodling, Ian McLeod and Seaira McLeod. Great-Grandmother to Cael, Evie, Eli, Jackson, CJ and Ivy. She also had a rather large extended family including her stepchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Walled Lake Central and loved living in Walled Lake. She coached Little League Baseball and always talked about how she would run into players who she had coached and loved how they remembered her. Margaret was a life member of the VFW-Ladies Auxiliary and a founding/life member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 3492.
In her spare time, she loved doing crafts and playing bingo.
Margaret was proceeded in death by her parents Hugh and Agnes Ronayne, sisters Rosemary Chace and Jeanine Plymale, son Kenneth Goodling and grandchildren Hailey McLeod and Caden Goodling.
Per Margaret’s wishes she will be cremated, and A Celebration of Life will be held.
