It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Angeles Torres Ruiz De Alegria, better known as Angeles Alegria on January 12, 2025, at the age of 82. A beautiful soul who would help anyone, Angie truly knew and practiced that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds and benefited Family and friends. She easily draws new friends in with her vibrant personality and abundant energy. Angie cherished life and lived it fully. Although Angie is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Angeles Elegante (Torres), brother Aurelio T. Alegria, Nephew Anthony M. Alegria and grandchildren Mary Margarette Elgante, Carlo Raphael Elgante, Mc Gregor Elgante, MC Harold Elgante, Anthony Elgante and Mark Jefferson Elgante.
Visitation will be held on February 21, 2025 at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Parlor, 21300 Via Verde St, Covina, California from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 5:00 pm followed by a rosary. Reception will start at 7:30 pm at Canaan Chinese Cuisine, located at 2668 E. Garvey Ave. S. West Covina.
