Mark Vincent Jurgenson Sr
In Loving Memory
Mark Vincent Jurgenson Sr., 73, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee, surrounded by his loved ones.
Mark proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Sergeant (E-4) during his years of service. During his time in the Air Force, he was recognized for his dedication and honorable service, receiving the National Defense Service Medal (NDSM), Air Force Medal (AFM), Air Force Good Conduct Medal (AFGCM), and the Air Force Longevity Service Award (AFLSA). After completing his military duty, he went on to build a successful career as the owner and operator of his own contracting business, known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Mark loved the simple joys of life. He enjoyed taking long rides on his Harley, golfing with friends, and relaxing with an ice-cold Bud Light in hand. When he wasn’t out on his boat fishing, you could find him at home watching the History Channel. Never a fan of the cold, Mark loved heading south in his travel trailer during the winter months, chasing sunshine and warm weather.
Mark was an easy-going man who could strike up a conversation with anyone. His friendly nature and warm smile made him someone people were naturally drawn to. He had a way with math, often able to solve equations in his head.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, William Jurgenson Sr. and Claudia Vaughn; his sisters, Judith Jurgenson and Meri Dake; and his brothers, Michael Jurgenson and William Jurgenson Jr.
He will be deeply missed by his children:
Mark (Kim) Jurgenson, and their children Leah and Vincent
William (Stephanie) Jurgenson, and their children Lono and Persimmon
Chris (Alicia) Jurgenson, and their children Andrew, Briana, Te Rina, Braylon, and Asia
Lisa (Chyanne) Flessner
As well as many other family and friends.
Mark’s memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared by his family and friends.
Per Mark’s wishes, no funeral service will be held.
Ride free, Dad. Until we meet again.
