It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Michael “Mike” Allen Stig Sr. was called to his eternal rest in the early morning of December 23, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many who cherished him. As we reflect on his life and legacy, we are reminded of the comforting words from Luke 23:42-43: Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” These words offer solace as we bid farewell to Mike on this earth while trusting he now resides in heaven. Details regarding services to honor Mike’s life will be announced at a later date. In his own memorable words, “Yish Mish,” may we find comfort and joy in the memories he leaves behind. May his soul rest in peace and his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
