Milford Blair Shepherd - Obituary

Milford Blair Shepherd III, age 36, died on Wednesday May 9th, 2018 in his home. He was born September 4, 1981 to Milford and Fay Shepherd in McCall, Idaho and moved to Boise when he was 16. In his youth, he was an accomplished ski racer. After high school, he worked various jobs and was last a proud union member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, Local 69. He married Angela Kelley of Boise on June 2nd, 2017, whom he declared was his soulmate and the love of his life. The two lived together in Boise with her two dogs and his angry cat. Blair was a bear of a man with an impressive full beard and a heart to match. He loved his family and friends very much. He developed special bonds with his nieces and nephews, especially with Zayd, Alex, Kylie, Marley, and newborn Urso, as well as from his wifes side Daniel, Alyssa, and Margalit. He embraced his step-family and in-laws as his own, and they him. People knew him as someone who was charismatic, kind, and generous to a fault. Blair had a zest for life. He did what he set his mind out to do. Hed find what he was passionate about and went for it. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and shooting. He also loved to cook, which made his wife happy. He had a beautiful smile and an entertaining sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his father Milford Shepherd II. He is survived by his wife, Angela, his mother Fay and stepfather Mike Anderson, sister Amber (Pete Hull), step siblings Chelsey (Trevor Fabian), Kurstin (Jared Luke), and Paul (Melissa Schlabs), and 21 nieces and nephews, 10 of which are on the Shepherd side and 11 from his wifes side. Blair was a well-loved man and will be sorely missed. He is gone from us too soon.
