Nancy Ann Neese ( Petree
In Loving Memory
Nancy Ann Neese (née Petree), 59, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, in Antlers, Oklahoma. Born on March 24, 1965, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, Nancy lived a life defined by love, dedication, and service to others.
Nancy attended Antlers High School and later earned her G.E.D. from Kiamichi Technology Center. She pursued further certifications as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Her career at Antlers Manor spanned nearly three decades, where she was known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to the residents. Nancy’s work was more than a job; it was a reflection of her kind heart and dedication to improving the lives of others.
In 1981, Nancy began her lifelong partnership with Edgar "Nick" Neese Jr., her beloved husband of 43 years. Together they built a life rooted in love and family in Antlers, Oklahoma. Nancy was a devoted mother to Ricky Neese and Rhonda Hinsley and a proud grandmother to Tiarra Hinsley, Keiara Neese, Jayce Hinsley, Tiana Hinsley, Tyler Cole, and Trevor Hinsley. She also cherished her two great-granddaughters, Dayara Crespo and Lindsey Cates. Her extended family included three sisters—Nona Howell, Dollie May Williams, and Jeanie Thompson—and two brothers—Norman Petree and John Petree—as well as numerous nieces and nephews who brought joy to her life.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Dollie Petree; her brother Kenneth Petree Jr.; her great-uncle Bobby Williams; her grandson Trenton Hinsley; and her granddaughter Taylyn Hinsley. Despite these losses, she remained a pillar of strength for those around her.
Nancy’s passions were as vibrant as the roses she lovingly tended in her garden. She found immense joy in spending time with her family, quilting keepsakes for her children and grandchildren, playing Candy Crush and Toon Blast, dancing to music she loved, and maintaining an immaculate home. Her zest for life shone through in everything she did—whether nurturing her garden or creating cherished memories with loved ones.
A wake will be held on what would have been Nancy’s 60th birthday—March 24, 2025—from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at her home in Antlers (196747 N 4170 Rd., Antlers, OK 74523). Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
Nancy Ann Neese will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend—and above all—a kind soul who embraced life with open arms. May the memories of her love and laughter bring comfort to all who knew her.
