In Loving Memory
Patricia Diane Conger (née Logston), age 62, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Niles, Illinois. Born on December 25, 1962, in Davenport, Iowa, Patty brought warmth and compassion into the lives of those around her throughout her life.
Patty is lovingly remembered by her husband, Shane Conger; her son, Kyle Conger; and her cherished granddaughters, Kenzie Conger and Kendra Conger. She also leaves behind her sister Judy Macdonald and husband Jon, as well as her brothers Jimmy Logston and Christopher Logston(Paula), sister in law Jana Logston. Her extended family includes many nieces and nephews who will remember her with affection. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillie Logston, and her oldest son, Chad Conger.
Family was at the heart of Patty’s world. She found great joy in holiday gatherings and visits from loved ones. Watching Kenzie perform with the high school cheer squad and cheering on Kendra during fastpitch travel softball games were among her proudest moments as a grandmother. These memories brought light to her days and deepened the bonds she held so dear.
Patty had a fondness for game shows and crime dramas on television—simple pleasures that brought comfort and entertainment to her daily life. Though not a regular churchgoer, she held a strong belief in a higher power that guided her compassionate spirit.
Known for always checking in on others and offering help when needed, Patty’s caring nature touched many lives. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed.

Patty decided to donate her body to the advancement of science. Her remains will be cremated and laid to rest in Hilltown Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held later in the year.
