Phuong Lan Steedly
In Loving Memory
Phuong Lan Steedly was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1957, beginning a new chapter of her life with quiet strength and resilience. On September 28, 2024, she passed away, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting influence on those who knew her.
A reserved woman by nature, Phuong preferred quiet company over grand gestures, yet she found amusement in the energy of animated and boisterous people. She had a dry wit and would often make unexpected jokes about life’s lessons—especially when watching her child, as she put it, “learn the hard way.” She found joy in reading and took pride in sharing the richness of Asian cultures through stories and history.
Phuong had a deep affection for small animals, finding comfort and delight in birds, dogs, and any little creature that crossed her path. Her gentle care and appreciation for their simple joys reflected the warmth of her spirit.
She will be deeply missed by her family and those who had the privilege of knowing her. Services will be held privately in accordance with her wishes
