Sara Jane Defee was a person whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. She always greeted you with a smile and made you feel welcome, no matter who you were. Cooking was one of her greatest joys, and she loved preparing meals for family and friends, always aiming to bring people together and make them happy. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and love, and she was a mother not only to her own children but to many others who saw her as a guiding presence in their lives.
Sara Jane leaves behind seven children—Bobby Joe Defee, Genera Walker, Shelia Walker and her husband Walter Truesdale, James Pacetti Jr and his wife Cathrine Gallagher, Curtis Pacetti, David Pacetti, and William Pacetti—along with 17 grandchildren: Alisa, Christina, Donnie, Alisha,Alexis ,Dorothy Jamie Jr, Micah, Curtis Jr, Brody, Nathan, Lil William, Nathan, Bradley, Leena,Faith,and Grace .Also 4 great-grandchild, Malachi,Jordan,,Cayden ,and Allie.. She also leaves behind her boyfriend Richard Cooler and many friends, including Donna,,Dallas,Harley,and Logan,Ashley, Frankie ,Trina and ,Hunter Mark Schwartz, Mikey and Courtney, Charlie and Kat, Paul Jay and Rhonda, Rickey and Mary, JJ, Amy, Michael and Rachel, Tucker, Raymond and Kristen, Kimberly and Abby and many more . The outpouring of love from her family and friends is a testament to the impact she had on everyone around her.
We hope to celebrate her life with a dinner featuring her favorite foods,(everyone bring a dish please) a balloon release, and, if possible, small urns for family and friends to keep as a part of her close. We will update you when her memorial is. It will be Wednesday the 22nd or Friday the 24th at 5 pm with balloons released around 6pm at her son Jamie’s house at 832 Jedidah way Round O SC 29474 .We will keep everyone posted.Please don't hesitate to call with any questions 8435992483
