Sherri Weil
In Loving Memory
Sherri Lynn Weil (née Tucker), age 66, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana. Born on August 26, 1959, in Hammond, Indiana, Sherri lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and quiet strength.
A graduate of George Rogers Clark Middle/High School, Class of 1977, Sherri carried her strong work ethic into every chapter of her life. Known for her willingness to lend a hand and her tireless spirit, she touched many lives with her generosity and steadfast support.
Sherri was a devoted mother to her daughter Danielle (Joe) and son Robert. Her love extended deeply to her four cherished grandchildren: Kellie, Michael, Genasys, and Arabelle. She also held a special place in her heart for her many nieces, nephews, and cousins who were part of the close-knit family she helped nurture.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Anna Mae and Perry; her brother Michael; and her sister Patricia. Their memories remained close to Sherri’s heart throughout her life.
A woman of faith, Sherri was a dedicated member of Daystar Chapel. Her spiritual life provided comfort and guidance as she navigated both joys and challenges with grace.
In quieter moments, Sherri found joy in reading, crocheting with care and creativity, and watching her favorite soap operas—simple pleasures that brought peace and expression to her days.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 24, 2026, at Daystar Chapel, 101 E. Homer St. Viewing will be from 10-11. Service will start at 11.
Sherri's warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
