Sherry Novak, 79, passed away on October 20, 2026, in New York, New York. Born on November 19, 1946, she will be remembered as a funny, outspoken woman of faith whose love for her family was central to her life.
Sherry counted being a mother and grandmother among her greatest accomplishments. She also embraced the opportunity to explore the world, traveling to every continent. Her sense of humor, candid spirit, and devotion to God helped define the woman her loved ones knew and cherished.
She encouraged those around her never to give up, believing that every experience offered a lesson that could help lead them where they needed to be. That message of perseverance remains a meaningful part of her legacy.
Sherry is survived by her daughters, Lynn Novak and Helen Novak; her granddaughters, Heather Novak and Alyssa Deletino; and her grandson, Joshua Deletino. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Brittany Novak.
Her family will carry forward the memory of her laughter, her faith, and the enduring love she shared as a mother and grandmother.
