Steve Holderfield
In Loving Memory
Steve “Big Daddy” Holderfield, Sr., 66, peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of his devoted wife, Gwen, and his family.
Born to the late Howard and Frances Holderfield, in El Paso, Texas, Steve lived a life defined by faith, family, and love. He cherished his role as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his children; Steve Holderfield and wife, Shandi, with grandsons Micah and Patrick; James Holderfield and wife, Antoinette, with grandchildren Andrew, Dylan, and Bella; Heather Paet and husband, Teo; with grandchildren Sirena, Mateo Jr., Ariella, and Layla; Cathryn Holderfield, with grandson Aiden. He is also survived by his step-children: Kevin, Ben, and Sara with husband Jeff, and granddaughters Jayde and Hailey.
Steve leaves behind his sisters, Patsy Granado and Paula Holderfield, and his brother Howard Oris Holderfield with wife Stephanie, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Above all, Steve loved his children deeply and faithfully served Jesus throughout his life. His family takes comfort in knowing he now rejoices in his eternal home, alive forevermore in the mansion prepared for him in heaven.
"His Lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
— Matthew 25:23 (KJV)
A private service will be held at a later date.
