Steven Douglas Lowe, age 69, passed away on June 30, 2025, in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Steven served his country with distinction, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant and earning the Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. His sense of duty and commitment carried through into his civilian life and career. Steven retired from Distribution NOW, where he worked as the International Sales Manager, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues around the world.
Steven was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra Lowe; his daughter, Amy Flaker, and son-in-law, Michael Flaker; his cherished grandchildren, Cole and Carlin Flaker; his stepdaughter, Amy Carroll, and son-in-law, Colton Carroll; and his grandson, Jackson Carroll.
In keeping with his wishes, Steve's legacy will live on through the advancement of medical knowledge made possible by the donation of his body to science. Steven will be remembered for his steady presence, unwavering dedication, and the quiet strength he brought to those around him.
His legacy of service, both to his country and his family, lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
