In Loving Memory

Thomas Haskell Gregory, known to family and friends as “Tim,” passed away peacefully at home at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

Born in Oklahoma City, OK on May 20, 1950, Tim’s love for sports and music began early. He grew up playing baseball, with his father as his coach from ages 8 through 17. In high school, he was a drummer in the marching band and went on to play in several jazz and rock bands. His passion for speed and competition — whether behind the wheel of stock cars, street cars or anything else that could be raced — remained ever present throughout his life.

Tim built a successful career as Operations Manager with Mistletoe Express and Glasstech before following his entrepreneurial spirit. He owned and operated several businesses, including Alphagraphics, Pillar to Post, and Precision Property Inspections.

Beyond his career, Tim lived a life full of family, hobbies, and adventure. He adored his wife, children, and grandchildren, and was happiest surrounded by those he loved most. He had a deep affection for animals — especially his dog Ellie, whom he walked every day while listening to NASCAR. Tim often joked that he loved animals more than people.

He was a true enthusiast at heart: a devoted NASCAR fan, avid golfer, OU football and Houston Astros supporter. He loved boating and being on the water, and held a private pilot’s license, finding joy and freedom in flying. He also enjoyed time at the shooting range, working in his garage, building and tinkering, and relaxing in the backyard or pool with family. The beach and traveling to NASCAR tracks across the country were among his favorite adventures.

Tim is survived by his wife, Nancy; his daughter and son-in-law, Nik and Scott Palesano; his son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Jessica Gregory; and his three beloved grandchildren, Cannon Palesano, Watson Gregory, and Crosby Palesano. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Midge Rankin, and his parents, Lucille and Haskell Gregory.

With the checkered flag waving, he crossed life’s finish line into Heaven.
