In Loving Memory
Timothy Ellery Fluellen was born to the late Ollie Marie and Charles William Fluellen on February 22nd 1961. He was the tenth of eleven children. His parents and siblings preceded him in death: Charles Fluellen Jr. Errol Fluellen, Reginald Fluellen, Robert Fluellen, and Rhonda Hopkins.
Timothy was an outgoing, intelligent, and a ambitious person. He was determined to be successful in life and he was. He graduated from Lane Tech High School in 1979. He continued his education at Rockford college and at Northern IL University where he received his bachelor's degree in Economics. He worked several years as a mortgage collector and a real estate agent. Timothy decided to change his career so he decided to go back to school. He successfully became an electrician where he found contentment. Timothy worked as an electrician until he retired in 2023. Although he retired from his job, he would help family who needed an electrician from time to time. Timothy's kind heart also allowed him to extend a helping hand to others that were in need of anything.
Timothy was a comedian in his own right. He laughed at his own jokes which made others laugh. Timothy enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He and his nephew Raymond would often host parties on many weekends. He enjoyed working out, playing cards, and barbecuing. He enjoyed flying to Reno to visit his children and grandchildren. Timothy did an outstanding job serving as Vice President of the Goodlow-Fluellen family reunion for almost 40 years.
