Timothy Gene Newman Sr. August 21, 1963 – July 4, 2025
Timothy Gene Newman Sr., 61, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on August 21, 1963, Tim was the beloved son of the late Nancy and Stu Newman.
He was a devoted father to his two sons, Chris and Tim Jr. (Kayla), and a proud grandfather to Brooklyn, Bethany, Alex, and Claire.
Tim is also survived by his brothers Stuart (Colleen), James (Kay), and Matt (Becky), who will remember him for his humor, loyalty, and the countless memories they shared growing up together.
He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, each of whom brought him joy and held a special place in his heart.
Tim was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, teacher—and was loved very much. He had a deep love for nature and found peace in the outdoors. Whether he was going mudding in his Jeep, hiking, rappelling, camping, or simply sitting by a campfire, those were the moments where he felt most alive and connected.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Cornerstone Hospice for the compassionate care and comfort they provided in Tim’s final days.
A private family gathering will be held to honor Tim’s life.
