Wesley William Peck
In Loving Memory
Wesley "Wes" William Peck, 76, passed away on April 3, 2025, in Davis, California. Born on November 2, 1948, in Multnomah, Oregon, Wes lived a life marked by creativity, craftsmanship, and dedication to his work and family.
Throughout his life, Wes embraced a variety of vocations that reflected his hands-on spirit and mechanical aptitude. He worked as a school bus driver and machinist—roles that showcased both his reliability and technical skill. A passionate motorcyclist, Wes found joy not only in riding but also in the intricate work of maintaining and building machines.
Wes was a man who loved to create. Whether he was sculpting with spare parts or designing intricate 3D models, he brought imagination and precision to everything he touched. His inventive nature extended into the kitchen as well; he delighted in crafting new soups and experimenting with flavors. Building things—whether from metal, machine parts, or ideas—was more than a hobby for Wes; it was a way of life.
He was deeply rooted in his Baptist faith, which provided him with strength and guidance throughout his journey.
Wes leaves behind three children: Donna Peck, Brendan Peck, and Jacob Peck; three grandchildren: Daniel Gorton, Dakota Wayne, and Bella Peck. He was preceded in death by his brother William Peck; his sister Patricia Peck; and his parents, Marvin Peck and his Vera Carlson.
May the memory of Wesley "Wes" William Peck bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting tribute to a life filled with ingenuity and heart.
