William Davis Snead Jr
In Loving Memory
William “David” Snead Jr., 74, passed away on December 6, 2021, in Richmond, Virginia. Born on June 23, 1947, in the same city, David lived a life rooted in faith, family, and community.
David was the beloved son of Jean Snead and William Snead Sr., both of whom preceded them in death. Throughout his life, David remained deeply connected to his roots in Richmond and found joy in the simple yet profound pleasures of life—watching football, spending time with family, and worshipping God with unwavering devotion.
David’s love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He is lovingly remembered by two daughters, Kristen Danielle Nettles and Isabella Dollar. Their legacy continues through their cherished grandchildren: Courtney Condrey, Zoe Minor, Michael Dollar, Seth Dollar, and Eli Dollar. Each of them carries forward memories of time spent together—moments filled with warmth, laughter, and love.
Faith played a central role in David’s life. He loved God with all his heart and found strength and purpose through his spiritual journey. This devotion was reflected not only in worship but also in the way he treated others—with kindness, humility, and compassion.
A memorial service honoring David’s life is being held on December 16, 2021, at Cloverhill Church located at 12310 Bailey Bridge Rd in Midlothian, Virginia.
