Zachary Ellis Quinn Mcmurtry - Obituary

Zachary Ellis "Quinn" McMurtry passed away in his sleep Thursday, 1/30/2025 in Beverly Hills, CA..

Quinn was only 30 years old when he died but he packed a lot of living in the three decades God gave him on this earth. Quinn was born on the beautiful island of Guam 9/21/1994, but grew up primarily in Corpus Christ, TX and Charleston, WV before moving to Nashville a year after graduating from high school to be with his family.

Aside from loving his son, Alistair (Valerie), Quinn was passionate about making music talking about his 12-year battle with addiction and helping his fellow addicts in their recovery and took great pride in each positive step they took towards sobriety: unfortunately, he succumbed to that disease.

Quinn is preceeded in death by his mother, Toni Lucario and is survived by his son, Alistair, father, Dana Patrick McMurtry, brother Jacob and sister Kelsey "Teal", all of whom loved him dearly and are heartbroken to lose him so young. He is also survived by dozens of addicts he loved and fought for.
